Global Patent Milestones
the two MIPRONS’ patents on the space propulsion system have been granted in Europe, Australia, and the United States. Specifically, they have now been filed in approximately 50 countries worldwide, with the current status as follows:
- “Space Propulsion System” (PCT/IB2018/055595) – Granted in Italy, Japan, India, the European Union, and Australia.
- “Low & High Thrust Space Propulsion System” (PCT/IB2021/061166) – Granted in Italy, the European Union, and the United States.

A global leader in space propulsion, providing expertise and support for non-propulsive technological developments. AVIO has contracted MIPRONS to investigate its solution as ignition system for the future LOX/LCH4 engine MR10 which is used on the Vega E launcher.
